Electroplating
Electroplating is a decoration process based on electrodeposition, used to apply a real metallic layer onto compatible polymers
After a specific surface preparation, the part is made electrically conductive and then immersed in different baths, where the metal is progressively deposited through an electric current. This process creates a homogeneous, durable and high-quality finish, with controlled coating thickness.
With more than 50 available finishes ; chrome, white bronze, silver, gold or special colors ; electroplating offers great aesthetic freedom while bringing the sensory qualities of metal: shine, color depth and a cold-touch effect.
It is particularly suitable for decorative and technical parts with high performance requirements. In the fragrance sector, it offers very good resistance to contact with perfume juices. It also meets the constraints of sectors such as home automation, automotive and high-tech, thanks to its resistance to scratches, wear and repeated handling.
